Windows95 Dial-Up Networking Upgrade

Too familiar to too many! This is the error that some of us have repeatedly seen. Microsoft has recently put out an update to their Dial-Up Networking applet, and one of the things it is supposed to do, is fix this bug. Along with several bug fixes this new update installs new security features to make Virtual Private Networks possible.

This update is a two step process.

The first step is to install the upgraded winsock ( an important part of the dialing process). You MUST install this first ! The second step is the upgraded Dial-Up Networking applet.
