Microsoft Internet Mail Configuration Problem
EnterSoft has discovered a Microsoft Internet Mail setup problem, which affects Windows 95 users only.
During the installation and configuration of the MS Internet Mail program, you are prompted for your e-mail
address, but not your reply to address.
By default this setting is set to @esn.net. This means that when the recipient hits the Reply to Author button
when replying to your e-mail, the e-mail is actually addressed to @esn.net, which can not be delivered.
All Win95 MS Internet Mail users should check their configuration settings by following the simple steps below.
Here are the steps to check and/or correct this problem:
1.Click Start - Programs - Internet Mail
2. From the Internet Mail menu bar , click Mail - Options
3. At the top of the window, click the folder tab labeled Server
4. Click the button labeled Advanced Settings
5. In the Reply to: box, enter your email address: yourusername@esn.net
6. Click "Ok" twice. Close MS Internet Mail
7. Done!
